KATS Wind Surfing Program

Windsurfing classes are offered to students that have gone through the sailing program or are still in the sailing program.

Our sailing students have a leg up on others trying to learn how to windsurf, being that our students have spent time on the water, learning what the wind does and also dealing with waves and currents.

The windsurfing classes open up a new world to the students, where they learn balance on a "tippy" board and the effects of what the wind has on the windsurfer.

Some of the students go on to compete in regattas on Tortola, blasting around in the great winds that we have here!

The windsurfing classes are taught by professionals in the industry, located at several venues throughout Tortola.
